The University of Chicago’s Joe and Rika Mansueto Library
It features “high performance Low E fritted glass provides shading from solar heat gain.  The high performance glass reject 73% of the solar heat while blocking 50% of the visible light and 99% of the UV light. As a result, the Grand Reading Room is flooded with daylight that is appropriately shaded to create a comfortable work environment.”
As far as university libraries go, this one has to be up there.
